TIP AND TRICKS FOR MAKING LIFE EASY 8

BLISTER-PACK CRACK

Blister packs—the impenetrable rigid plastic packaging that all of your kids’ toys come in nowadays—are the worst. Do these companies not want kids to play with their stuff, or what?!
Even giant scissors can fail at this task. But there is a way. Take your blister pack and use a garden variety can opener along the side of it, thus opening the outer edge of the plastic monstrosity with comparative ease. Take that, evil blister pack inventor—you’ve been hacked!

NO-DUST DRILLING

The dust from drilling holes in walls can get everywhere. (I’ve even found some on the cat.) Here’s how to make it mess-free.
When the drilling urge comes over you, grab your trusty power tool and a pack of sticky notes. Mark where you want to drill, stick a sticky note underneath, and then fold the note up to form a little trap for the dust. When you’ve finished drilling the hole, empty the dust in a container and reattach the sticky note beneath the next drilling point. NB—this will not work with a hammer drill with a bit the size of your arm—that will need a whole pack of sticky notes.

GARDEN RAKE TOOL ORGANIZER

If your man shed resembles a mini-junkyard, you’re in for a treat (you have a man shed, right?). No more hunting aimlessly for the right-sized wrench for the job. This handy hack enables you to arrange your tools for ease of access. Take one old, rusty rake, detach the head, and hang it up on the wall. Then organize your implements and stand back to admire your handiwork. This hack doubles as a stress-reliever. Tidy tools = tidy mind.
